This study conducted to evaluate the perfoiinance of medium setting(MS) emulsified asphalt mixture in the laboratory. The maximum size of aggregate 13 mm and 19 mm were used and compacted with both of the gyratory compactor and marshall compactor. The performance tests of the MS asphalt mixture included the Marshall stability, the indirect tensile strength, the moisture susceptibility, the MR test, and the creep test. The results of the test were compared with the those of hot mix asphalt(HMA) mixtures lack of the moisture resistance. However, the permanent deformation of the MS mixture improved compared with that of the HMA. The performance of the MS mixture showed the advantage and disadvantage in the meantime. The improvement of moisture susceptibility of MS mixture expects to be more stable and widely used in the practice.
