A lot of deterioration of Concrete occurs in asphalt overlay over concrete pavement. The purpose of this study is to find the causes of concrete deterioration, to find how to increase bond between concrete and asphalt, and to come up with proper solution to solve the problem. As a result of the spray amount test of tack coat, the bond strength was found to be the highest when the amount of tack coat was 0.8ℓ/m² and the bond shear strength was found to be the highest when the amount of tack coat was 0.4ℓ/m². In the case of cleaning the concrete floor, the bond strength increased 3.5 times compared to the case of not cleaning. It was found that a lot of water penetration occurred at the interface when cutting concrete pavement. Cutting with saw was found to have a 30% increase in the effect of blocking water penetration compared to otherwise. Cutting and sealing was found to have a 92% increase in the effect of blocking water penetration compared to do nothing. Cutting and sealing was found to increase the reflection crack resistance effect by 1.5times compared to do nothing.
