In this study, the basic framework for analyzing each influencing factor was presented and case analyses were performed on the factors that lower the power generation efficiency of solar road. The influencing factors cited in the analysis are the hourly change in the amount of direct sunlight on the solar road, the shading of adjacent structures, and the shading of the driving car. In the analysis of change in the amount of direct sunlight, the installation angle of the road was considered 0°, and in the analysis of the shadow effect of adjacent structures, an analysis method showing the shaded area was presented in consideration of the elevation angle of the sun, azimuth, and the height of adjacent structures. In addition, a method of calculating the shadow time per hour through traffic volume information was proposed considering the maximum car length based on the classification by car type.
