Abstract

Asphalt binders are applied to various industries through various chemical properties. In the case of asphalt concrete, Modifier is used for improvement of field performance in which breakage is intensified by summer temperature rise and explosive traffic. Therefore, it is important to composition of asphalt binder for high quality so that modified asphalt identifies the Physic-chemical bond mechanism and rheological characteristics. The objective of this study is to identify properties by chemical analysis and temperature changes of developed modified asphalt for asphalt pavement. Regarding the temperature change from solid to liquid state, the PG76-22 binder was melted at a temperature range 10~20% higher than that of PG64-22.
