Abstract
This study investigates the relationship of asphalt concretes aging as increasing performance period in asphalt pavement. The core specimens fi'om 6 other section of performing highway paved of asphalt were collected in order to analysis of aging properties. And asphalt was recovered from core specimens according to Abson recovery method. And recovered asphalt was measured the Absolute viscosity (AV), G*/sin8 (Stiffness), High Pass and Fail temperatures (P/F temp.), and Penetration which are typical properties of asphalt at room up to high temperatures. The results of test, As increased performance period, AVs, Stiffness and P/F temperature increase and penetration decrease significantly. Also regression analysis result of between performance period and each properties, regression coefficient, R2 appeared 0.88-0.98. Therefore, this study showed that asphalt aging level as performance period can estimate by using the AV, stiffness, and P/F temperature.
