Abstract
This study conducted to evaluate the structural stability of subbase layer that mixed crushed aggregates. The LFWD(Light Falling Weight Deflectometer) was used to find out the deflection and accordingly parameters that are able to predict the behavior of pavement layers. Elasticity analysis and damage analysis was perfbnned by The Maximum deflection(D0), Elastic Modulus, SCI(Surface Curvature Index), BDI(Base Damage Index), BCI(Base Curvature Index), AREA, tesile strain(£t) and compressive strain(Ez). As a results of the test, the elastic modulus and Do of the point where non-mixed crushed aggregate were measured to be lager than the point where mixed crushed aggregate, but the linear relationship was no observed with increase of the mixing ratio. Mixed crushed aggregate didn’t have a significant effect on the structural bearing capacity. et and &was calculated to be lager increasing the thickness of the surface layer and using high stiffness materials.
