Abstract

This study conducted to evaluate the characteristics of high-viscosity asphalt binders for porous asphalt pavement. High-viscosity asphalt binders were provided from three domestic companies (A,B,C) and one overseas company (D) and the physical test (penetration test, softening point test, viscosity test (135°C), and flexural bending test) and PG (Performance Grade) test were performed. As a results of the physical test, all of binder was satisfied with JMAAS-01. As a result of PG test, it was confirmed that the binder of D company showed excellent values in G*/sinδ and G*sinδ, and that rutting deformation and fatigue crack resistance were high. In the case of the domestic binder, it was confirmed that the A company tends to be long-term aging and low temperature similar to the D company.
