Information
This study conducted to develop the low cost and high efficiency additive for warm-mix asphalt(WMA). Two Additives for WMA were produced in powder type and liquid type using anionic surfactant. The maximum size of aggregate 13 mm was used and compacted with marshall compactor. The rate of the inclusion of additive developed changes 3%, 6% and 9% in order to determine the optimum amount in weight of the binder. The performance tests of the WMA mixture included the Marshall stability, the indirect tensile strength, the moisture susceptibility, the dynamic stability. The results of the test were compared with the those of hot mix asphalt(HMA) mixtures and another warm-mixed asphalt mixture.
